140 William Street is the site of a major redevelopment in the heart of Perth’s city centre. Working collaboratively with Rice Daubney and JLL, the brief was to strategically reposition 140 as a vibrant and eclectic fashion and dining precinct. The site is a complex network of narrow laneways and discreet courtyards, with six entry points and three street frontages. This called for an integrated signage and placemaking strategy to create exposure and improve urban legibility.

Bespoke contemporary signage and historical environmental graphics were seamlessly interwoven, to ensure that aspects of the site’s history were retained and celebrated. The result is a rich and layered environment that delivers a contemporary urban experience, while retaining a sense of history and authenticity within this thriving 24 hour precinct.
